Well.. I bit off more than I could chew trying to do this blog while I was abroad. I am back home in Albuquerque now, and my last post goes back to late February I think, so that is pretty sad.
My biggest piece of advice for someone studying abroad would be not to take on too many projects because you will not have time to do everything. Even when I was doing nothing at home in Paris, it was usually because I was too exhausted to try to post on the blog. My wifi wasn’t the best, and I had so much going on.
Although I am already home and sadly finished with my study abroad experience, my goal is to continue trying to post all of the diary posts I originally intended to post, as well as post my advice and tips for study abroad students or expats. I feel like I will have a lot more time on my hands, and a clear mind to try to recount my experiences, for myself and people who care to read them, as well as recalling all the issues I had and all the lessons I learned living abroad.
Not that I think a lot of people read this blog at this point, but a small disclaimer, I don’t think I am going to be keeping these posts in the order in which they occurred like I’ve been trying to, I am just going to post whatever is fresh in my mind that day, and try to add photos along with it. I’ll do as much as I can and then finally follow through with sharing this blog with everyone I know on social media to read after the fact… Pretty silly, but I paid and worked pretty hard for this blog and I want to follow through on what I started!
With that, I hope anyone who ends up reading this enjoys!
